Everyone-- regardless of gender, sexual identity, race, socioeconomic status or title-- deserves equal access to timely justice and grievance remedies. We need judges who fundamentally believe this and who will be transparent and independent with each and every case regardless of the victim or the accused. We need judges who are accountable only to the law and citizens, not beholden to ego or power. Cobb needs judges who prioritize people over politics.
Access to Justice and Court Transparency:
I recognize the crucial duty to enhance access to justice and promote court transparency. Years ago, I resolved to use my legal career to making it easier for others-- particularly those historically excluded-- to participate in the legal system. I understand the importance of an equitable and responsive legal system for individuals who find themselves in court due to a moment of crisis in their lives. As a judge, I pledge to make legal proceedings understandable and accessible to all, embracing a judicial approach that demystifies the legal process. By fostering open communication and providing clear explanations of legal proceedings, I aim to be a judge Cobb residents can trust and to help create a more transparent and accountable judicial system, ensuring individuals are empowered by-- not excluded from-- the legal system.

Recognizing the authority bestowed upon this role, I commit to managing caseloads with diligence and expediting proceedings without compromising due process. By implementing streamlined procedures and embracing technology where applicable, I aim to ensure that the justice system operates efficiently, delivering swift and fair resolutions to all litigants who come before the court.
